Johnson City to Consider Mandatory Spay/Neuter on November 5!

The Johnson City Commission will hear a presentation from local animal shelters at its next meeting on Thursday, November 5. While there is no draft currently available, local media reports that there may be discussion of a mandatory spay/neuter proposal for the city.

The Commission will not be voting on animal control issues at this hearing, but all responsible dog owners are encouraged to attend the presentation and learn about the changes being proposed for Johnson City. It is vital that responsible owners and breeders become involved in the process now!
